COLIN ELMORE

Colin Elmore of Willow Springs, MO, began writing and performing at a young age. Colin grew up on the road, traveling the Midwest, performing Southern gospel music with his parents. His family roots run musically deep in with his 89-year-old grandfather still performing after 60 years in the same gospel quartet, and with his late great uncle “Cowboy Calvin,” an Arizona desert tour guide/country troubadour.

Upon moving to Nashville, Colin joined forces with his soon-to-be band, The Danville Train, in which Colin fronts lead vocals. In 2016, Colin Elmore & The Danville Train signed a developmental record deal with Sony Entertainment Nashville, as well as booking contract with WME. Shortly thereafter, Colin inked a publishing deal with Wrensong/Reynsong Entertainment and Patrick Finch Music Publishing. Colin is a perfect fit for the company’s diverse roster.

“Colin Elmore is a songwriter who has an uncanny ability to tap the fuel of all good poetry: love, life, and the land.  His lyrics are full of mystery and beauty, and his studied attention to melody and metaphor make his songs resonate with truth as deep as the roots of some old Missouri oak.” - John Dillon, of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils

“When I first heard Colin’s songs and voice, I loved him immediately…seeing him live put me over the top. He is a true artist.” – Ree Guyer, president and owner of Wrensong Entertainment.

Colin is currently dividing his time between songwriting and recording material for his debut album release for Sony Music Nashville produced by Marshall Altman.
