Named by Rolling Stone Magazine as a “new artist you need to know,” Canadian born Makayla Lynn is a fresh face exploding onto the Nashville scene.
She has spent time at #1 on CMT’s 12-Pack Countdown and is a two-time East Coast Music Award winner in Canada. Releasing a record with Grammy Award-winner Keith Stegall and his co-producer/daughter, Jen Stegall, Makayla's growth as a songwriter and music-maker through her young years has allowed her artistry to settle into its place in the world of Country/Americana storytellers, much like her influences.
CONOR MATTHEWS
Joe Ginsberg is a songwriter/producer who walks the line between pop and country. Originally from Denver, CO, Joe spent 15 years living in Los Angeles, primarily touring with bands signed to Warner/Reprise and Side One Dummy Records, before co-writing the Miranda Lambert single “Little Red Wagon.” This brought Joe to Music Row after signing to BMG Nashville and shifting focus to writing full-time in 2014. Since arriving in Nashville, Joe sharpened his songwriting and production skills while landing cuts with Carly Pearce, Bailey Bryan, Larry Fleet, Zayn, Flo Rida, On The Outside, The Chattahoochies, Stuck On Planet Earth and many more. Joe’s list of cowriters is healthy, extensive, and includes: Ruston Kelly, Randall King, Matt Stell, Carly Pearce, Karen Fairchild, Harper Grace, Karley Scott Collins, Audra Mae, Ryan Griffin, Tyler Booth, Sean McConnell, Emily Shakelton, and many more.
In 2021, Joe signed an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Wrensong Publishing/Anthem Entertainment which is fueled by creativity and multiple single and production credits slated to release this year.
A charismatic songwriter and remarkable vocalist, Conor Matthews’ honest, vulnerable and unique songwriting and artistry quickly caught the attention of hugely successful Nashville recording artists. This led to his first music publishing deal at age 19…a co-venture between Keith Urban’s company and Warner Chappell Music.
In 2019, after several years in Nashville, Matthews' music reached and made a strong impression on soon-to-be mentor, Busbee (Altadena) and Aaron Bayshuck (CEO Warner Records LA). Within months, he signed a deal with Warner Records LA and had a tour lined up with The Jonas Brothers. While there, he continued writing across multiple genres and garnered cuts in Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, EDM and Rock, all while maintaining his Nashville relationships and continuing his country music songwriting career.
It’s impressive to note that on his own recording projects he has accumulated over 200 million streams worldwide in just two years. His willingness to share the unedited details of his own mistakes, regrets and highs and lows, makes the songs he writes appeal to a wide variety of artists and audiences alike.
Matthews is currently outdoing himself. His song, “Cowboys Did Cocaine”, which he co-wrote with artist Riley Thomas, was the most viral country song in the world for four weeks with an average of 85,000 streams per day. For that same period, it was also in the Top-25 most viral songs in the US over all genres. Since its release, "Cowboys Did Cocaine" has streamed over 20 million times. Matthews co-wrote “Why Johnny” with female rising artist Megan Maroney which landed a permanent home on her well-received debut album, “Lucky”. Additionally, he secured a cut on Jelly Roll’s widely acclaimed 2023 “Whitsitt Chapel” album called “Kill A Man”.
Today, Conor is focusing his time in Nashville to discover new sides of his artistry and continue to write for other country artists, along with projects he's involved with industry wide. His move from LA to “Music City” was prompted by his respect for the Nashville community and his love of writing country music.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Charles “Chip” Esten was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended T.C. Williams High School (made famous in the film “Remember the Titans.”) He then attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, where he graduated with a degree in economics and met his wife, Patty. While in Williamsburg, he was lead singer/songwriter in a popular local band.
Esten made his theatrical debut in London when he portrayed Buddy Holly, singing, acting and playing guitar in the hit West End musical “Buddy.” In that role he was honored to perform for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and eventually President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush at The White House. He was also very honored to perform with Jerry Allison and Joe B. Mauldin, Buddy’s original hitmaking bandmates, the Crickets.
It was during his run as Buddy that Esten first appeared on the original British version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” with Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops. When “Whose Line” came to ABC, he became a recurring cast member and frequent song improvisor. Since then he has appeared on Drew Carey’s Improvaganza and toured frequently, performing live improv shows with Stiles, Proops and Jeff B. Davis.
Esten’s many early television credits include recurring roles on “Big Love,” “Enlightened,” “The Office” and “ER.” Besides being the father on Disney Channel’s “Jessie,” he has been a Klingon on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” a secretary on “Murphy Brown” and Kelly Bundy’s fiance on the series finale of “Married with Children.” His film credits include “Swing Vote,” “Thirteen Days,” “61*” and “The Postman.”
Esten has been honored to perform across the US, UK, and Germany for the past several years, including the Grand Ole Opry, the historic Ryman auditorium and the Royal Albert Hall. In addition, he has performed at festivals including Stagecoach, the CMAs, Route 91, C2C, and CMC. He looks forward to resuming touring this summer.
Charles is an active Musicians On Call board member and volunteer, regularly performing for patients and caregivers in hospitals, hospice centers, and VA facilities. With live performances being mostly cancelled in 2020, the singer-songwriter, actor and performer has instead performed a regular online Quarantine Live Stream concert to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where he has served as an honorary spokesperson for the past 8 years.
